Thing 3: Mom? Can we play beauty parlor?
Me: Sure. Get a brush
(Thing 3 brushes my hair)
Me: This is fun.
Thing3: Now I'm going to give you a pedicure. (starts rubbing my feet with lotion)
Me: (moans) Oh. That feels good! Let's play Beauty Parlor every day!
Thing 3: Mom, you need a 'real' pedicure.
Me: I do? Why?
Thing 3: Because your feet are nasty!
How do you argue with that?? I did what any of you would have done... I booked a 'real' pedicure with these guys.

16 monkeys jumping on the bed:
What a sweet girl!
Sometimes it takes the honesty of kids to make ourselves get pampered. Good for you!
I'm sure my feet are much worse--I'm almost too embarrassed to go get a pedicure. Have fun being pampered!
Fun game! I hate pedicures. I do not like people messing with my feet, unless it is a foot massage.
I LOVE pedicures. But I told myself I couldn't get my next one until I lost five pounds and I keep stalling out at four. So I have pretty gnarly toes right now.
Never had one, but I'm pretty sure that with my addictive personality disorder, if I got one single pedicure I'd have to have three a day for the rest of my life. Like diet Coke.
You will love it! I went to Cultures and had a wonderful time. I'm so hooked now!!!!!
You will love the pedi - make sure they give you some nail art!
Honesty can be a beautiful thing, and motivating, too. I'll see ya @ the Nail salon in a few hours...
Mmmmm! Don't forget to kiss your sweet daughter on the way out the door.
Ooh-ask her to come brush my hair, would ya? I LOVE that:)
Good call on the real pedicure. Wish I could join you.
Out of the mouth of babes!
Haha, that's funny. Reminds me of the time I went to the pool for the first time.. in... uh... forever... and my son saw my *white* legs and said "Whoa Mom!"... self-tanner much! hehe
Don't you love when the kids just say it like it is?
I LOVE when my girls want to play pedicure and beauty parlor with me.
Oh, I miss the beauty parlor days----loved those head rubs and braiding of my hair----so relaxing.
I've never had a real pedicure, or a "non-real" one either. I'm seriously lacking in girliness when it comes to painting extremities. However my daughter is quite girly in every way, so I'm bound to end up in a nail salon eventually.
