Actual Conversation

mormon mommy blogs caroline elisaCaroline and I like to talk on the phone WHILE we work on the computer. We’re super efficient like that.

It usually involves a lot of typing, heavy breathing and the occasional commentary on what we’re each doing. It’s a great friendship.

When we need to clean the house, we call each other and solve the entire worlds problems in a hour and a half AND get a clean house.

We’re freakin’ brilliant!

One night while we were “working” and chatting we had the following conversation:

Caroline: Why did you like NPR on Facebook?

Me: Wuh?

Caroline: You liked NPR on Facebook. Why? They’re a bunch of whackos.

Me: What are you talking about?

Caroline: {sigh} On Facebook. You liked NPR. You’re not like that. They’re those crazy right-wing-nut jobs.

Me: Seriously. I have no idea what you’re talking about.

Caroline: NPR. Why do you like it? They are crazy gun people.

Me:  Umm… That’s the NRA. NPR is a radio station that is mostly Talk Radio.

{crickets chirping}

Caroline: SHUT UP!
