Taken with my iPhone. No filters or editing.

I had just pulled into the driveway with Thing 1 when I heard the familiar refrains from my favorite U2 song "Where the Streets Have No Name". The sun came out from behind the clouds at exactly the moment when the guitars start. Slowly it peeked at me from my favorite tree in my back yard. I had to take a moment and listen to the song while I captured the photo. It was a perfect moment with me, my daughter, my camera and U2.

Taken with my iPhone this morning.No filters, no apps used.

I have a very cool Cannon DSLR camera-- with a double battery pack-- and multiple telephoto lenses that allow me to see the hair on the neighbors chinny chin chin.

However, lately I have been enthralled with taking pictures with my iPhone. I've found an entire community online that is dedicated to taking pictures with their iphones and then posting them. To say that I am addicted is an understatement.

I spend most of my online time now on Instagram looking at the photos people take, checking out the apps they are using and trying new things. I can't get enough of it. There are weekly memes that I participate in that push my creativity and are crazy popular.

I have read article after article about how its the camera that makes the picture. And, I really believed that until I read an article by a professional photographer who took a picture of the same thing with three different cameras... they were all amazing photos.

It's composition and Eye that matter more than what type of camera you use. Any camera can take a good picture, it's teaching yourself to see the beautiful and the art in the minutia of every day life.
