There is a delightful childrens book entitled "Too many toys: A Christmas Story". We read it every year and then go through all of our toys. Our goal is to fill up 2 garbage bags of our toys that we can then donate to charity. My kids get really excited about finding things they used to love to give to other children to love. It teaches kindness, thoughtfulness and charity.
Today, go through your toys and try to fill a bag-- of any size--
with toys that you can donate to charity.
Honestly, those in need will be very, very grateful!
