Every year in Chicago, they do a series of stories on the mysterious person that gives very valuable gold coins to the Red Kettles. This mysterious person donates bunches of these valuable gold coins every single year-- all over the city. It's always fun to see the stories, and watch the excitement on the faces of the bell ringers as they talk about finding the gold coins in their pots!
