My friend & I took our kids to Lagoon this weekend. It was so fun to see them so excited.
We got walkie talkies for the "big kids" so that they could be in contact with us and be able to ride the "kewl" rides while we took the little ones on the baby rides.
Thing 3 has no fear. What so ever. None. She was completely insulted that she wasn't tall enough to ride the major roller coasters! It was fun to see her on the ladybug drop, her favorite ride... especially now since she has seen a real live ladybug!
Anyway....
Thing 1 was says to us as we are getting ready to plan our attack: "Since we have walkie talkies, we need nicknames. You guys are the Mama Birds and we are the baby chicks."
Oh ok.
I didn't think that it would stick.
It did.
Every time they checked in, they called out "Baby chicks to Mama bird, come in Mama bird."
Too cute.
My friend really hammed it up with them too! It was funny!
Anyway.
That is how we will be spending our summer.
Chasing the baby birds all over the park.
Sounds tiring! But fun!!
